Future Snapshots for Intergenerational Fairness – European Commission

I’m so grateful to have created the visual identity and illustrations for Future Snapshots for Intergenerational Fairness, a publication by the European Commission exploring how we can imagine a fairer future for all generations.
It’s been a truly inspiring project, visualising collective imagination, connection, and care through a series of speculative “future snapshots” written by European Commission staff.
For this project, I used mycorrhiza (the symbiotic connection between fungi and tree roots) as a central metaphor, representing how generations, like ecosystems, are deeply connected beneath the surface, sharing resources, wisdom, and resilience.
